Our Inaugural Ring-In 2008 Was a Rousing SUCCESS!

HERE'S HOW THE EVENING PROGRESSED. . .
6:30 p.m. – Guests Began Arriving

Over 260 guests checked in and received glow ID bracelets, complimentary
couples photos and a complimentary glass of champagne. Mac Potts, graduate
of the Washington School for the Blind played the piano.
6:30 p.m. – Bars Opened
3 regular cash bars and 1 cash martini bar with large
Bank of Clark County ice carved logo served guests all evening long.
7:00 to 9:00 p.m. – Dining Stations Opened

Guests enjoyed a delicious beef carvery, seafood and pasta stations throughout the ballroom.
Desserts, coffee and tea were served from 9:00 to 11:30 p.m.
Tables with Seating for 10

Each company table was signed with it's name (or the table host's name).
No host tables were signed "Friends of the Greater Clark County Rotary"
(anyone attending could sit at these tables). Every table will had a centerpiece
and each place setting had a program, noisemakers, hats, streamers, etc.
9:00 p.m. – Big Screen TV Presentation

Vancouver landmarks, images and highlights, sponsor logos, photos,
and
couples photos were displayed on a giant 14' wide monitor.
New Year's countdowns were also shown, starting with NYC Times
Square ball drop at 9:00 p.m., Central Time Zone at 10:00 p.m. and
Mountain Time Zone at 11:00 p.m.
9:00 p.m. to Closing – Dancing to Live Music

performed, along with periodic performances by the Arthur Murray dancers.
